At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, we develop and promote British Values throughout our school and within our curriculum.
“We want every school to promote the basic British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs.” Lord Nash
A key part of our plan for education is to ensure children become valuable and fully rounded members of society who treat others with respect and leave school fully prepared for life in modern Britain.
To do this our children will develop;
Our Catholic mission statement and aims for our school clearly reflect these values, and the whole school strives to uphold them.
Our school is committed to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We value and promote all personal achievements, high standards and respect for the individual. Our school motto is that all of our children should experience strive for ‘Excellence’, whilst having ‘Fun’. We believe that by working together as one community with Christ’s teaching at the centre, we build understanding of one another and develop the self-esteem of every individual.
This mission statement represents the principles that we strive towards at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School. Throughout our prospectus we hope to show how we translate these aims into practice.
