We are getting ready for an amazing time at our very first special Lent Festival on Friday, 28th March! πŸŽ‰ Children are invited to join in with a day filled with exciting games, where you can win awesome prizes and have loads of fun with your friends. Children can try their luck at Guess the Sweets in the Jar, test your aim with Splat the Rat, and show off your strength in the Welly Throwing contest! Each game costs a small fee to play, so make sure to bring a small pot of money.

Dear Parents,

It was wonderful to see so many parents this morning for our Lent parent prayer time! It was lovely to enjoy this opportunity to come together in prayer during our season of Lent. In this week’s Gospel, we reflected on Jesus’s journey into the desert where he fasted for 40 days and nights. We thought about the word ‘freedom’ and how each of us is lucky enough to have the freedom to make our own choices and to choose to follow God in our lives.

This time of Lent is an opportunity to follow Jesus’ example and spend some quality time in developing our relationship with God. CAFOD has some lovely resources to support you in praying with your children at home.

Lent family prayer
