Youth Energy Summit

What an inspiring day was had by members of our Y5/6 Eco Team and Science Club when they attended the Accelerate Eco Summit! Our ECO group had the opportunity to dive deep into important discussions and experiences about sustainability and climate change. They kicked off with powerful keynote speakers who shared their insights into the pressing environmental challenges we face, sparking thought-provoking conversations about our planet’s future. Then, we were blown away by a captivating performance from Highly Sprung Theatre—a wordless yet powerful portrayal of sustainable energy that truly brought the message home. The day continued with workshops: One on product design, where we explored how our creations can be more eco-friendly. The other focused on using our bodies to demonstrate how energy is created and transmitted into our homes—what an interactive way to learn about energy flow! #romeroexperiences
