Some of our school footballers delivered an outstanding performance this week in The Harry Shaw Cup, securing a 3-1 victory in a tough match against Pearl Hyde. They all displayed excellent teamwork and resilience and they played amazingly well. Well done team. #romerothrives
On Monday afternoon, some of our Year 3 and 4 girls took part in their first football competition of the school year. They showed incredible resilience and teamwork throughout the event. Despite being new to the game, the girls quickly learned the rules of football and had the opportunity to play in a variety of positions
This week, it was year 5’s turn to attend The School Games dodgeball competition. The children had to follow the three sporting values of respect, honesty & teamwork in order to play games and achieve the best scores possible. The children were brilliant and represented our school amazingly
Some of our netball team played against St. Gregory’s yesterday afternoon in a thrilling, end-to-end game. It was fantastic to see both teams playing excellent netball and giving their all throughout the match. The game ended in a well-deserved 2-2 draw, with both teams earning something from their hard-fought efforts. Well done to you all!
