Swimming Champions

Last Friday, our swimming team took part in the annual Catholic Schools Swimming gala and what a day it was! Every swimmer has been training hard for months for this competition and their training truly paid off. They put in an incredible team effort which crowned them the East schools shield winners from the morning! They then progressed into the finals – this saw the 8 best schools from across the city go head to head. It was extremely close but they did it – they held on to be crowned the overall 1st place champions!

Retaining their title of double champions for the 2nd year in a row is incredible! The children’s smiles say it all, what a day!

We’ll be holding swimming team trials for our 2024 team in October when we have on our site swimming pool again, so keep training hard!
