Our Year 6s have been focussing on the diary of Anne Frank for the last few weeks in their History lessons and have used this primary source to gather lots of information about the plight of Jewish citizens living in occupied regions at that time. The children have found the topic fascinating. Olivia in Miss Gibson’s class said, ” I found it so interesting learning about Anne Frank. She was so inspiring because she was going through so much but carried on writing. I think I would have felt too scared to do anything in her situation.”
Here are some examples of beautiful work produced by Year 6 to demonstrate their knowledge.
