Have Your Say Day

Our School Council and Eco Squad met this week and listened to feedback from our class council members, following our ‘Have your Say Day’ last week. After listening to each class’ opinion, we discussed the pros and cons of each option before narrowing it down to 4. We then held a democratic vote. We will be announcing the winning action in our first week back. The children’s ideas were absolutely fantastic! Their top 4 ideas were (in no particular order):

1. A wildflower garden to attract bees and other wildlife.
2. A school vegetable patch where children can grow their own produce.
3. Recycling bins in every classroom
4. Weekly litter picking on our school site and the immediate area.
