Safer Internet Day
On Tuesday 6th February it was Safer Internet Day! The children had two separate assemblies on this day, one for KS1 and one for KS2 led by Miss Roberts and also a member of Tablet Academy ( an E-safety and computing agency). Children from across the school took part in a range of computing activities all focussing on one specific topic; computer programming, staying safe online or cyber bullying. Every child in the school took part in one of two competitions. The first was to design a new E-Safety poster for the school and the second was to act out a cyber-bullying scenario and to come up with a possible resolution to the problem. The winning poster will be displayed around the school and the winning scenario will be acted out in Friday assembly! Hold tight as the winners will be announced next week!
